If that describes your approach to IT consulting, we need to talk! LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Network Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity with our client in Fort Worth, TX. Position Summary and Responsibilities: Network Engineer, will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining new and existing Networks and infrastructure. You will be a member of our core engineering team with opportunities to advance in your career. Networks Engineer duties and responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze network needs, and propose solutions. Configure and troubleshoot Cisco switches, Ruckus Access Points and Fortinet firewalls to optimize network performance and security. Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime. Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure effective network management and support. Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices and make recommendations for network improvements. Provide technical support and guidance to junior network engineers and other IT staff. Participate in security management. Use diagnostic tools to determine deficiencies. Suggest and oversee improvement processes. Attend webinars and conferences Job Qualifications: Provide exceptional customer service. Must document systems, processes, and procedures. Communicate and demonstrate techniques while cross training other employees on various applications and hardware. Maintain clean work environment.
