Position Overview SUMMARY (Basic Purpose of the Job) Part time day shift , assists residents with medication administration and treatments under the direction of the on duty RN. Provides personal care to Assisted Living residents by providing light housekeeping and maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of resident apartments, and resident's laundry. Assists with dining services. Education MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or GED. Nursing assistant or home health certification. Successful completion of medication administration training course and statewide standardized, written competency test. NJ medication assistant certification. Experience One year of experience. Other Credentials AHA BLS. Non-Licensed must obtain before end of orientation period Knowledge And Skills Excellent customer service skills. Possesses a friendly demeanor. Has excellent bedside manner. Special Training Training in multiple age populations. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Mental, Behavioral And Emotional Abilities Good critical thinking skills. Possesses ability to work under stressful conditions. Usual Work Day 8 Hours Offers are contingent upon successful completion of our onboarding process and pre-employment physical.
