Large 500-person International Manufacturing Company located in Peachtree City Georgia is looking for a Materials Engineer

Job Duties

Planning, implementing and control of the flow of goods and services from handling of raw materials to transporting finished goods
Implement & develop factory planning for series start-ups, project expansions, transfer projects, and efficiency improvement measures (e.g., technology, methods, processes), with a strong focus on intralogistics planning.
Define technical standardization for production resources and planning processes, prioritizing intralogistics processes and equipment.
Manage project timelines and budget targets for assigned work packages, including the setting and monitoring of individual and departmental goals via annual appraisals.

Associate’s degree
5 years working in supply chain in a plant manufacturing environment
2+ years experience in…

Automation technology & data networking within logistics processes (e.g., warehouse systems and management, transport systems, AGVs).
