We are currently recruiting for the position of Manager, Business Intelligence & Data Analytics in the Greater Cleveland Area. Position Overview: As the Manager, Business Intelligence & Data Analytics, you will serve as the primary IT executive, responsible for providing vision and leadership to the business intelligence, data analytics, and data warehousing departments. Your role will involve overseeing the activities of these departments, collaborating with second-tier managers, and ensuring alignment with the business units' needs and objectives. You will be instrumental in creating and implementing programs and strategic plans to address current and future data analytical needs. Duties and Responsibilities: Establish best practices and standards for data management, integration, warehousing, business intelligence, analytics, and data governance. Oversee the analytics function, setting strategic priorities, and identifying new business opportunities based on data. Proactively guide the application of analytics for generating business impact and value. Identify challenges across the business and formulate data-driven solutions. Communicate complex analyses' impact on key performance indicators (KPIs) to non-technical users. Drive initiatives for data accuracy, usability, availability, and efficiency for BI and analytics applications. Collaborate with senior management to understand and prioritize data and analytics requirements. Lead performance optimization efforts for enterprise data and analytics tools and applications. Manage the Analytics Center of Excellence and unify federated business intelligence development. Enhance the existing Data Literacy curriculum for coaching and training customers in BI tool usage. Promote and evangelize the value of BI and analytics across all business units. Convey the return on investment (ROI) of BI to management and executives. Required Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering (Business degree considered with proven technical experience). Master's degree preferred. Minimum 7 years of hands-on technical and managerial experience. Experience with migrating on-premises data and analytics assets to the cloud. Project Management experience with agile methodologies. Expertise in data and analytics for mid-large size companies. Proficiency in Data Science, Data Engineering, and data modeling. Extensive experience in multidimensional data modeling (star schemas, snowflakes, denormalized models). Familiarity with data warehouse-as-a-service, data lakes, data marts, database design, ERPs, and overall technology facilities. Strong experience in vendor management, RFPs, and budget management. Proven track record of interacting with C-level executives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation skills.
