Maintenance Supervisor - Night Shift (Full-Time)

Schedule:
2-2-3 rotating schedule, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, including alternating weekends.

Role Overview:

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of skilled technicians in maintaining and improving plant operations. This role is responsible for overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, and supporting production goals in a safe and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion of both preventive and corrective work.
• Maintain high standards for equipment performance, product quality, and operator efficiency.
• Recommend upgrades or replacements of equipment and assets to improve operational effectiveness.
• Assist in developing and managing the maintenance budget; monitor spending and report on operational costs.
• Identify and resolve cost or labor overruns, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to foster a positive work environment and address labor-related issues including safety, training, and employee relations.
• Partner with Human Resources to recruit, train, evaluate, and develop maintenance staff.
• Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations in coordination with EHS teams.
• Promote a culture of food safety by encouraging staff to report issues and take corrective action promptly.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in maintenance supervision within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage budgets and optimize resource allocation.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work night shifts on a rotating schedule.
