Position Summary:

In this role you will oversee a team of skilled maintenance professionals responsible for servicing and repairing production machinery, including executing scheduled preventive maintenance, within a designated manufacturing facility. Deliver high-quality, customer-oriented support by working closely with department leaders and operators to ensure safe, efficient production while reducing downtime and operational costs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of maintenance technicians across shifts, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective equipment upkeep.
• Coordinate and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Review, assign, and track maintenance work orders, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues.
• Promote safety compliance, continuous improvement, and Lean/5S practices throughout the department.
• Develop team capabilities through training, coaching, and performance management to meet evolving technical demands.
• Investigate equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities using digital tools and systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with leadership responsibilities; packaging industry experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance software; ERP/MRP system experience preferred.
• High school diploma required; associate degree or technical certifications preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced production setting.
