Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locksmith to join our team. As a Locksmith, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining locks and other security devices for our clients. If you have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for working with locks, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain locks, including electronic and mechanical locks
• Open locked doors and containers using specialized tools and techniques
• Cut and program keys for clients
• Provide emergency lockout services for clients
• Conduct security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
• Install and maintain other security devices, such as safes and alarms
• Keep up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in the locksmithing industry
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a locksmith training program or equivalent experience
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a locksmith
• Certification from a professional locksmithing organization
• Experience with electronic locks and access control systems
• Knowledge of local and national security regulations and standards
