Awesome Bites Co. (nation's 1st allergy friendly, vegan bakery and ice cream shop) in Houston, TX is looking for one Production Assistant to join our 8 person strong team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and reliable.

Our Pastry Prep Cook (aka Treat Magician) is where magic starts on all our awesome treats. The assistant will assist to produce a variety of baked goods and ice cream from scratch. They will work closely with the production lead and owners, anticipate needs, multitask, and be flexible.

Production includes: allergy friendly baked goods, ice cream, scratch made caramel and sauces, waffle cones, cold brew coffee and teas, and ready-made snacks.

Duties of this position include:

• Prepping, measuring and scaling ingredients
• Baking and scooping muffins, cookies, cupcake and brownies, rolling gluten free waffle cones
• Prepping and making vegan ice creams, toppings, and sauces from scratch
• Making cold brew coffee, teas, and mylks
• Basic frosting skills
• All the wonderful kitchen cleaning duties: dishes, mopping, sweeping, wiping counters

• Basic math skills

SCHEDULE: WEDNESDAY TO SUNDAY START 6:30AM (20-30 hrs)
