Ziegler is seeking an Investment Banking Summer Analyst to join its Healthcare Investment Banking Group in our Minneapolis office.

As a result, Ziegler Summer Analysts will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced investment bankers on ongoing live deals and gain exposure to numerous engagement types:

• Fairness Opinions and Valuations

• Private Placements

Ziegler also sponsors and manages a variety of private equity offerings and proprietary investment funds, and through its sponsored funds, Ziegler invests strategically in the healthcare, senior living, and education sectors. Additionally, Ziegler is an active participant in municipal sales and trading markets through Ziegler Capital Markets.

INTERNSHIP DETAILS

Position: Investment Banking Summer Analyst

Group: Healthcare Investment Banking

Timing: Internships generally start at the beginning of summer and end upon your return to school in the fall. Specific dates are flexible as of yet, but more information will be provided at a later date. This is a 10-week paid internship program.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Construct dynamic three statement operating models comprised of bottoms-up, case-driven projections

• Conduct detailed financial models including DCF, LBO, and accretion /dilution models, as well as relative valuation analyses including public company comparables and precedent transactions

• Assist in preparing Confidential Information Presentations, Management Presentations, and other deal marketing materials

• Work alongside Ziegler deal team and client management team to facilitate buyer due diligence processes

• Prepare analyses of strategic alternatives and valuation analyses for new business generation and pitch books

• Conduct sector research and develop synthesized report on competitors, market dynamics, and industry outlook

• Data collection and editing in Microsoft Excel and construction of PowerPoint presentations

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Rising Senior with strong academic standing at a leading university or college

• Demonstrated work ethic and willingness to excel in a fast-paced work environment

• Proficiency in finance and accounting topics with strong written and oral communication skills

• Ability to quickly learn on the job and accurately follow directions

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota

Compensation: Fully paid internship
