Job Title: Part-Time Intake Coordinator & Admin Assistant - Detail-Oriented Professional

Location: Stony Brook, NY (On-Site)

Hours: Part-Time | Monday, Wednesday, Friday (5 hours per day - flexible between 10 am-5 pm, approximately 15 hours/week)

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

LI Behavioral Health is on the lookout for a highly organized, detail-oriented Intake Coordinator / Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. If you've worked in a similar administrative role, especially in healthcare or a private practice setting, we'd love to hear from you.

This role is perfect for a stay-at-home parent looking to re-enter the workforce or maintain a fulfilling part-time schedule without sacrificing family time.

Why You'll Love Working With Us

Supportive Team Culture: We lead with kindness, humor, and purpose.
Flexible Hours: Customize your workday around your life, not the other way around.
Low-Stress, High-Impact: We value doing things right the first time with clarity and intention.
Fun Work Vibe: Pandora playlists, good energy, and people who truly have your back.
Your Day-to-Day Might Include:

Administrative Excellence:

Navigating EHR systems, managing light insurance billing, organizing emails, creating/updating spreadsheets, and other computer-based tasks (Google Workspace).
Answering phone calls with warmth, professionalism, and empathy.
Following our systems with precision to keep things running smoothly.
Supporting both clients and colleagues to ensure every interaction feels thoughtful and intentional.

Creative & Marketing Support:

Creating engaging social media content for our practice's Instagram and Facebook pages
Designing flyers, graphics, and marketing materials using Canva
Managing our online presence with creative, on-brand posts that reflect our voice
Supporting marketing initiatives for group therapy launches and other therapeutic and coaching services
Connecting with our referral partners

You'll Thrive in This Role If You:

Have 2+ years of administrative or intake experience, ideally in a healthcare or mental health setting
Are highly organized with a sharp eye for detail (think: spelling errors don't stand a chance)
Feel confident working independently and take pride in your work
Are comfortable with tech and quick to learn new systems
Have a creative eye and enjoy visual content creation
Are comfortable with Canva or similar design tools (or eager to learn!)
Can write engaging social media captions that reflect our warm, professional tone
Enjoy blending administrative precision with creative projects
Value loyalty and building long-term relationships with your team

How to Apply (This Part Matters!)

We're not interested in generic applications. To show us you truly read the details and are the organized, thoughtful person we're searching for, please:

1. Visit the "Contact Us" page at longislandbehavioralhealth.com

2. Send an email with the subject line: "I have found my type of peeps."

3. In your email, include a brief response (3-4 sentences) to this question: "What does workplace loyalty mean to you, and can you share an example of when you demonstrated it?"

4. Attach your resume and any examples of creative work you've done (social media posts, Canva designs, etc.), even personal projects count!

We look forward to hearing from you and hopefully welcoming you into a workplace that truly feels like home.

We can't wait to meet you!
