Industrial Painter/Blaster

Pay: $17-20/hr. Hours: 6AM-4:30PM (Will be switching to nights in the fall) and receive $3 Shift differential

Job Type: Temp-Hire $150 sign on bonus paid out for the first 3 weeks as a temp through Abundant Solutions additional $150 Referral Bonus per person referred that meets 80 hours worked

Location: Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

What You Will Be Doing:
As an Industrial Painter/Blaster, you will operate cleaning equipment and prepare equipment for painting. Daily duties include :

• Mix and apply various types of paint systems to meet customer and company specifications.
• Operate sandblast equipment and perform masking and feathering of old paint in preparation for new applications.
• Conduct Dry Film Thickness (DFT) readings, Psychrometer readings, and Surface Temperature readings to ensure compliance with HSSE guidelines.
• Frequently operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts.
• Be flexible to work in other departments as needed.

Must Have Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of related experience in industrial Painting/ Blasting.
• Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience.
• Proficient in operating heavy equipment, including scissor lifts, cranes, and forklifts.
• Ability to constantly climb stairs or ladders and maintain balance without assistance.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work in outdoor conditions, including all weather conditions and non-air-conditioned facilities.
• Ability to maintain constant movement, including stooping, kneeling, and crouching, to perform tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces.
• Must wear all required PPE, including a full mask.
