United Talent is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our team. This role will focus on preparing, painting, and finishing mining equipment. The ideal candidate should have experience in industrial painting and equipment repair, specifically working with heavy machinery in a mining or industrial setting.

Job Duties:

• Prepare surfaces of mining equipment for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying necessary treatments.
• Apply paint, primers, and coatings to equipment using various techniques (spray, brush, etc.) to ensure a durable and high-quality finish.
• Mix and match paints and coatings to meet required specifications.
• Repair, touch-up, and maintain paintwork on mining equipment as needed.
• Operate and maintain painting and sandblasting equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections and make necessary corrections.
• Follow all safety procedures and comply with industry standards for handling hazardous materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Pay & Shift:

• Pay will vary based on experience
• 6am-4:30pm
• Monday-Friday
• Occasional overtime as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an industrial painter, preferably in a mining or heavy equipment setting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or paint specifications.
• Familiarity with various painting techniques and materials, including epoxies, polyurethanes, and other industrial-grade coatings.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Physical ability to handle large, heavy equipment and work in various conditions (including outdoor environments).
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to follow safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Willingness to perform additional tasks as required, such as minor repairs and surface preparation.
