Join Our Team as a Human Resources Manager! We are a leading Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center currently seeking an experienced
Human Resources Manager to oversee HR and payroll functions at the facility level. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards, while supporting a positive and efficient workplace for all employees.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage the recruitment, selection, on-boarding, training, employee benefits, and employee relations.
- Ensure HR compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee payroll administration and maintain accuracy.
- Administer the safety, loss prevention, and workers' compensation programs.
- Enforce HR policies and ensure adherence to the facility's goals and objectives.
- May perform manager-on-duty functions during weekends as needed.
Qualifications: - Strong communication skills: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Independent decision-making ability with a focus on HR-related matters.
- Patience, tact, and enthusiasm to handle personnel issues effectively.
- Knowledge of administrative practices, employment law, wage regulations, payroll, OSHA, and privacy guidelines.
- Ability to implement HR and payroll programs, policies, and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to act as a liaison between management and staff.
- Proficiency in ADP Vantage, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Kronos Systems.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR/Payroll Administration or a related field.
- High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- PHR Certification preferred.
- Experience working in a healthcare or similar environment is a must.
