Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking a pharmacist to support a small hospital in Northeast Iowa. This is a contract role with housing provided by the client.
Assignment Details:
Location: West Union, Iowa
Setting: Small munity hospital
Start: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks+ (potential to extend)
Schedule: Monday Friday, day shifts
Housing: Provided by client
Responsibilities:
Order verification and clinical review
Supervising pharmacy technicians
Consulting with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff
Ensuring safe and effective medication use across the hospital
Requirements:
Active Iowa Pharmacist license OR eligibility/willingness to obtain an Iowa temporary license
Prior hospital or inpatient pharmacy experience required (small hospital experience a plus)
Strong munication and clinical decision-making skills
