Hematology Oncology Nurse Practitioner, Indiana

Flexible Hematology-Oncology APP locums assignment in Indiana, near Indianapolis; outpatient-focused with light call.

Highlights

• Flexible weekday hours; choose between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
• Balanced mix of oncology and benign hematology
• Rotating call every 4th-5th week
• Credentialing in 90 days, start in early 2026

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient, outpatient, and some telehealth
• Majority outpatient with consults and weekend rounding during call weeks

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 36 hours/week of patient care
• Q4-Q5 call rotation; one full week at a time
• Weekend rounding required only during call weeks

Cases and Procedures

• 70% oncology, 30% benign hematology
• 15-18 patients/day
• APPs round on existing patients; consults managed by on-call provider

Requirements

• Indiana license (or IMLC)
• Board Certification required
• BLS certification

Travel Accommodations

• Airfare, hotel, rental car, and mileage all covered
