Job Description: The Clinical Systems Engineer holds a pivotal role within our organization, collaborating extensively with Clinical Operations, Technology Teams, Application Teams, and vendors to develop and optimize integrated clinical solutions. This multifaceted position demands curiosity, diligence, follow-through, and critical thinking. The key responsibilities include researching, designing, developing, and delivering healthcare technology solutions, encompassing databases, interfaces, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards. Runs multiple projects simultaneously and support vendors and the operation teams for John Muir Health system as needed.Education: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Clinical Engineering Master's degree in Biomedical/Clinical Engineering (preferred) Experience: Three plus years’ experience developing with solid Project management background in healthcare technology/clinical engineering systems. Three plus years’ experience in developing and managing role to implement and support complex systems interfaces. Solid understanding of the medical and physiologic aspects of the data collected and analyzed. Proven knowledge and experience with Healthcare/Clinical Technology and medical device data systems. Experience with administration and configuration of various application platforms. Knowledge of software systems and application architectures such as client-server and n-tier and typical application-system dependences and APIs. Solid grasp with HL7, TCP/IP, FTP, Secure FTP, SSH, SMTP, DNS, WINS, Active Directory, and related network protocols and services. Proven record of strong Project management skills. Previous experience with Accruent/TMS CMMC is highly desirable. Knowledge of Imaging systems, Cybersecurity and data protocols are highly desirable. Certifications/Licensure: CCE Certification (preferred) Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills in a multi-platform environment, meticulous with solid attention to detail.
