Job Description
Generator service, sales and rental company is hiring Certified Field Technicians. Candidates should possess previous technical experience to perform preventive maintenance and emergency service on diesel and gaseous fueled generators ranging from 8 kW to 2,000 kW. A valid drivers license and excellent work ethic is mandatory. Prior experience on Generac, Kohler, Caterpillar, Cummins, or Onan a plus.
Preferred Requirements: Experience with diesel and gaseous fueled engines, generators and switchgear with the ability to troubleshoot and repair. Electrical knowledge and skills for troubleshooting and repairing control panel interface and programmed logic controls. Candidate must possess excellent technical and computer skills, a positive mature attitude with good written and verbal communication skills.
The core of our business is maintenance as well emergency service to local and state government facilities, mission critical sites, telecommunications services, and public utilities. We also service private business and residential clients. We will provide additional factory training and certification for viable candidates.
