This fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for a wonderful family who are looking for an experienced and committed live-in domestic couple. Job Summary: Family of 4 (two adults and two teenage children) are looking for an experienced domestic couple to assist with the day-to-day running of their family home in Berkshire. You will support two principals who run a relatively informal household, so this will suit a hard-working couple who take a hands-on approach to their roles. This role will coincide with an estates management team. Duties: Housekeeper Housekeeping Laundry, linen, fabric care and ironing Provisioning for the household Occasional family cooking (simple meals) Pet care (2 dogs) House and pet sitting when the family are away Assisting the gardeners with indoor house plants and flower arrangements All rounder Swimming pool maintenance Driving duties (airport runs and trips to London etc) Vehicle maintenance Household maintenance Liaising with contractors Light grounds maintenance Security Assisting with informal parties and events Candidate Requirements: The ideal couple for this role will have experience in similar roles working together; the family has a track record for longevity with staff and is looking for those who are keen to make a long-term commitment. Ideally both sides will be confident drivers, but at least one as a minimum. You will work well as a team along with additional staff in the home. Practical, friendly couple with a hands-on approach. Pet friendly is a must. Accommodation: 1 bedroom house, separate accommodation with utility bills paid. Pets considered on a case-by-case basis.
