About Us

Hormone Insight is an early-stage women’s health startup on a mission to make hormonal care personalized, science-backed, and easy to understand. We’re building an AI-powered mobile app that gives women real-time insights and recommendations across mood, nutrition, energy, and more — starting with support for conditions like PCOS and endometriosis.

We’re launching our MVP this summer, and are looking for someone who can move fast, iterate visually, and bring empathy to every screen.

What You’ll Do

• Build and ship new features in React Native for our mobile app MVP
• Translate Figma designs (via Dev Mode, Locofy, or other tools) into clean, responsive components
• Work with the founding team to implement micro-animations and transitions that enhance user experience
• Use AI tools, Cursor, or custom LLM prompts to expedite dev cycles
• Optimize for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility across device types
• Collaborate in person 1–3x/week in SF with design and backend collaborators

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with React Native , JavaScript/TypeScript, and mobile UI frameworks
• Comfort with Figma Dev Mode, Locofy , or other low-to-no-code integration tools
• Familiarity with using LLMs to speed up frontend development (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT workflows, code generation)
• Attention to detail in visual polish, responsiveness, and transitions
• Comfortable working quickly and scrappily in an early-stage startup environment
• Bonus: Experience building health-related apps or an interest in women's hormonal health

Compensation

While we’re pre-funding and can only offer light support (enough for coffee or a few meals each week), we offer ownership, end-to-end technical leadership, and the chance to work on cutting-edge LLM workflows and real-world impact in healthcare.
