Due to growth, Gold Standard Service Company , an emerging industry leader in providing top-quality maintenance and repair services for restaurant equipment, is seeking a skilled Food Service Equipment Master Technician to join their team in the Durham, NC area.


If you have at least 5 years of food service/restaurant equipment repair experience , Gold Standard wants to hear from you! CFESA certifications are a huge plus but are not required .

• Flexible schedule : Typically, Monday - Friday daytime hours, with start times ranging between 5:00am - 8:00am. There is a rotating on-call schedule for nights and weekends.

The Food Service Equipment Master Technician will be responsible for:

• Periodic preventative maintenance of restaurant equipment
• Restaurant equipment repairs
• Refrigeration equipment repairs such as ice machines, walk-in refrigerator and freezer units, and stand-alone units Flooring, plumbing, and electrical repairs
• The role of the Food Service Master Technician is to offer repair, maintenance, and service support for various equipment in accordance with customer requirements and company standards
• The Food Service Master Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, performing repairs and replacements, and ensuring the proper functioning and safety of the equipment
• In addition, the Food Service Master Technician will manage a team of Junior Technicians and offer support and supervision
