Finance Controller/Manager – Creative Industry

Our client are a global creative studio working at the intersection of branding and design. They are looking for an experienced Finance Controller/ Finance Manager to join their tight-knit team and play a key role in managing their financial operations across the US and UK.
MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A FINANCE ROLE WITHIN A DESIGN, CREATIVE OR ADVERTISING AGENCY.
🎯 In this role, you’ll:
- Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting across 3 international offices
- Oversee accounting operations (AP/AR/general ledger) and collaborate with our UK partner, Zedra
- Ensure tax compliance in both the US and UK with the help of external advisors
- Provide insights that drive strategic decision-making
✅ What we’re looking for:
- Finance experience at a small (<100 people) creative agency, graphic design studio, or ad agency
- Hands-on experience supporting a UK-based office or satellite team
- Strong knowledge of US + UK accounting and tax
- Proactive, analytical mindset with great communication skills
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proficiency in financial software, and productivity tools such as Slack, Zoom, G-Suite
- High integrity and a commitment to confidentiality and ethical practices
✨ Bonus points for:
- Experience with QuickBooks or Xero
- CPA/ACCA/ACA credentials (or working toward one)
