Estimator
Our client located in the Woodlands area is looking for an Estimator to join their team!
Job Duties:
Utilize digital estimating tools (such as Edge, PlanSwift, or equivalent software) to assess and quantify roofing materials, project scope, and labor requirements from architectural blueprints and plans.
Review and interpret project documentation, including drawings and specifications, to create accurate and detailed cost assessments for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
Develop comprehensive bid submissions that outline project scope, pricing details, and expected timelines for review by clients and contractors.
Work closely with project managers and sales teams to discuss estimates, respond to client questions, and make necessary adjustments to bids.
Gather and assess quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the accuracy of pricing and competitiveness in the market.
Recognize potential project challenges, identify opportunities for value engineering, and suggest cost-effective solutions throughout the estimation process.
Stay informed about the latest developments in roofing materials, industry best practices, and local regulatory requirements to maintain accuracy in estimates.
Ensure the timely completion of all estimates while adhering to company profit margins and project deadlines.
