Job Description
Worker will start on Day 1 with AAM Electricians with Journeyman’s card, or 7+ years of direct electrician experience. Must have experience in a manufacturing environment on manufacturing equipment – NOT facilities maintenance. A qualified journeyman electrician with construction or facilities experience is not a fit. Electric work must be on machines in the manufacturing environment, in any industry (automotive preferred) Experience industrial maintenance, electrical maintenance, high voltage (medium voltage), 480V, 120V, down to 24 volt DC circuitry. PLC experience, Allen Bradley preferred Familiar with going through the parameters of Program Frequency Drives (controls engineers help with this but familiarity is important) AAM Three Rivers is a CNC Machining facility, so having CNC experience would be preferred. Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines preferred. Please note, if candidates were heavier on PLC's and lighter on CNC's or vice versa it would be fine.

Candidate should be experienced with PLCs, CNCs, Frequency Drives, motors, and associated circuity. Most importantly, should be able to show examples of troubleshooting these items.
They will be exposed to but not limited to 24v DC, 120v, 277v, and 480v circuits. Troubleshooting can range from troubleshooting proximity switches, light screens and safety circuits, cables, ethernet and communication issues, motors, drives, relays, etc.
Experience Preferred
Automotive industry experience preferred.
Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines preferred.

Currently AAM’s Journeyman Apprentice program has a year+ back up.
AAM would consider candidates strong in either CNC or PLC experience (not both)
AAM HM and HR conduct interviews together, many candidates cannot answer the questions asked. Many resumes don’t match the candidate interviewing.
