Description
The Electrical Panel Assembler assembles or modifies electrical or electronic equipment, such as machines, sub-assemblies, and electronic motors.
Essential Functions \n - Performs typical production shop operations to support the production department
\n - Reads and interprets schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions
\n - Assembles electrical or electronic systems or support structures and installs components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering or micro-welding equipment.
\n - Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.
\n - Explains assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.
\n - Drill or tap holes in specified equipment locations to mount control units or to provide openings for elements, wiring, or instruments.
\n - Confers with lead and/or manager to plan or review work activities or to resolve production problems.
\n - Inspects or tests wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for resistance factors or for operation and record results.
\n - Mark and tag components so that stock inventory can be tracked and identified.
\n - Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations

Required Education and Experience \n - High school diploma or GED
\n - 3 to 5 years of electrical assembly experience

Pay Range: Pay Range $42,250.00 - $76,375.00
