Summary: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Drywall Installer and Finisher to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for measuring, cutting, assembling, installing, and finishing drywall panels in residential and commercial spaces. From hanging sheets to applying finishing touches, your work will directly contribute to delivering high-quality, professional results our clients can count on. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Measure, mark, and cut drywall panels to fit layouts and dimensions.
• Install drywall sheets on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using screws, nails, or adhesives.
• Ensure panels are properly aligned, leveled, and securely fastened.
• Apply tape, joint compound, and finishing coats to seams and corners.
• Sand and smooth surfaces in preparation for painting or final finishes.
• Repair, patch, and complete punch-list items as needed.
• Collaborate with other trades to coordinate workflow and meet deadlines.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe, clean work environment.
• Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship preferred.
• Proven experience as a drywall installer/finisher.
• Hands-on experience working with drywall materials and punch-list tasks.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification (or ability to obtain).

Key Competencies:

• Knowledge of drywall tools, materials, and finishing techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Positive attitude, initiative, and flexibility to adapt to changing project needs.
• Ability to read and follow technical documents and drawings.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks involving bending, climbing, squatting, reaching, and kneeling.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to teamwork and willingness to assist with non-trade specific tasks when needed.

Pay & Benefits:

• Pay range: $23- $28 per hour.
• Actual pay depends on education, experience, and performance.
• Benefits include dental, vision, paid holidays, sick time.

Work Conditions:

This is a fully on-site role at the project location(s). Must have ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine. Involves movement between floors, and properties to facilitate work. Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.
