Schedule: 10 to 12 hour overnight shifts hours based on business needs.

Expected Starting Wage: Anticipated at $17 - $18.00, depending on experience.

What You Will be Doing:

The Security Officer at our client's site will roam and patrol job sites to help deter theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities. Our company vehicles are equipped with cameras and monitoring technology; this ensures safe driving practices, regular location checks, compliance with company policies, and accurate reporting for clients.

The position includes the following duties:

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, colleagues, and patrons.
  • Deescalate and/or escort off the premises unruly patrons or unauthorized personnel.
  • Monitor and control access at entrances/exits and vehicle gates.
  • Identify, document, and report any unusual activity, violations, accidents, physical property damage, theft, or disturbances on site.
  • Prepare reports in electronic format.
  • Communicate effectively with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical personnel as needed.
  • Be familiar with and follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Effectively use proper radio protocols to communicate with leads, management, and other site officials and staff.
  • Must be familiar with and adhere to Use of Force statutes and regulations.
  • Follow all Code 4 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified on business needs.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 18 or older.
  • High School Diploma/GED a plus.
  • Driving Employees: Must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record.
  • Security Experience preferred.
  • Military/First Responder experience is a plus.
  • Must possess effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Must consistently demonstrate emotional control, and good judgment in all situations, both escalated and complex in nature.
  • Work in various environments including elements (heat, rain, snow).
  • Able and willing to stand, walk, and run as needed.
  • Occasionally bend/twist to perform various duties.
  • Job site locations vary. Limited public transportation is available. Personal transportation is required.

Our screening process includes criminal background checks for applicants who are offered a position. Additionally, fingerprinting is required for all employees attaining a security guard license.
