Job Description

Our client, a leader in the transportation industry, is seeking a Dispatcher III to join their team. As a Dispatcher III, you will be part of the Transportation Department supporting efficient delivery operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proficiency in Outlook, and the ability to multi-task effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Dispatcher III

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Pay Range: Max Pay Rate $25.00

What's the Job?

• Gather and record delivery time information from route drivers.
• Communicate with management and customer service regarding driver locations and delivery statuses.
• Review delivery logs daily for accuracy and make necessary corrections.
• Assist with product pick-ups and assign drivers to complete deliveries.
• Address customer issues and direct calls to customer service as needed.

What's Needed?

• 5-7 years of experience in a dispatch or related role.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and ability to navigate through browsers smoothly.
• Ability to gather information quickly and multi-task effectively.
• Experience in managing delivery routes and addressing customer inquiries.
