Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a Dispatcher to join their team. As a Dispatcher, you will be part of the operations department supporting the delivery team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Dispatcher

Location: Gilroy, CA

Pay Range: $23.00 - $29.00 D.O.E

What's the Job?

• Coordinate the overall scheduling and dispatching of delivery operations.
• Communicate with truck drivers through computers, phones, or two-way radios.
• Assign drivers to trucks and ensure they leave and arrive on schedule.
• Monitor traffic conditions and weather to assist drivers in avoiding delays.
• Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers to address inquiries and concerns.
