A reputable logistics company is seeking a Dispatcher to join their team! Searching for individuals with previous dispatching experience and excellent customer service skills. Ideal candidates will be available to work a 40-45 hour work week between the hours of 3-11 PM on weekdays and weekends from 7 AM - 7 PM. Responsibilities:
* Answer incoming calls and route orders to drivers
* Support drivers with any questions or issues during their routes
* Monitor routes to ensure deliveries are made on time
* Track driver locations using GPS and keep the team informed of progress
* Handle general clerical tasks and process paperwork
Requirements:
* 2+ years of dispatching or related customer service experience
* Able to work weekdays 3PM - 11 PM and weekends 7 AM - 7 PM (Totalling 40-45 hours per week)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Professional phone etiquette
* Comfortable with typing and managing a multi-line phone system
* Transportation industry experience - a plus!
