Job Description

An investment management firm in Texas is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their staff as their new Director of Business Operations.



Responsibilities:


The Director of Business Operations will:

• Manage the operational aspects of a growing business, including project management across research, development, and trading
• Manage and evolve internal business processes and create additional process systems in multiple functional areas
• Communicate regularly across our team understanding blockers and accelerating cadence
• Assist with strategic planning and maintain industry relationships
• Manage outside firms as outsourced teams to facilitate all aspects of financial reporting, business documents, and regulatory filings
• Communicate with vendors and institutional investors on business topics
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in a Trading firm, Hedge Fund, Investment Bank, or similar role
• Bachelor's Degree
• Domain knowledge of Institutional Trading and Investment & Associated Technology Ecosystem
• Microsoft Excel proficient
• Solid analytical and research skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
