Velocity Systems is seeking a full-time in-house designer for their manufacturing plant in Dulles, VA 

Velocity Systems was founded in 2007 to provide the highest performing armor solutions, in the shortest amount of time, to the United States Military Special Operations community and top Law Enforcement communities.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• Familiarity with Lectra/Accumark CAD software. 
• Designs, develops, and tests processes for production of prototypes, produces detailed designs and/or CAD drawings.
• Design, develop and sews the final prototype designs.
• The ability to conceptualize and develop a specific product or product line from inception to production.
• Work independently to execute design projects from inception to volition, report progress to program managers.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines with effective time management skills.
• Additionally, the successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be a self-starter and have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
