Job Title : Cybersecurity Analyst (US Citizens Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

Key Responsibilities :

• Continuously monitor an organization's networks, systems, and data for potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, analyzing attack patterns and assisting with the remediation of security breaches.
• Perform regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests to identify and mitigate security weaknesses.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and other security tools.
• Implement encryption and other data protection methods to safeguard sensitive information.
• Develop, implement, and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to employees on best security practices and how to avoid common cyber threats such as phishing or malware.
• Ensure that the organization complies with cybersecurity regulations, industry standards, and best practices. Prepare and deliver security reports to management.
• Work with other IT staff to ensure system configurations are secure and assist in disaster recovery planning and testing.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Security-related certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly preferred.
• Experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.
• Proficiency with security tools and software (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewall configurations, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
• Experience in cloud security and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
• Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and scripting languages.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to clearly articulate security risks and incidents to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
