We seek mindful drivers who are driven by providing excellent customer service and getting the job done safe & sound; the goods being delivered in original form is the goal, but courtesy and considerations are a step above and beyond that reaps great rewards (we teach that too).
A Courier is responsible for transporting goods from one location to another. Their job duties include loading their vehicles, abiding by traffic laws and ensuring safe and careful unloading and delivery at the destination.
Driver Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers, clients & customers
- Securing cargo
- Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving
- Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules with time constraints (if applicable)
- Complying with driving rules and regulations; obeying and following applicable traffic laws
- Performing periodic mini inspections of delivery vehicle
- Occasional loading and unloading box trucks for special jobs
- Interacting with customers in a professional manner
- Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection reports (only applicable to our fleet)
- Taking pics/video of cargo deliveries (if applicable)
- Verifying loads for accuracy
- Long-distance driving (upon mutually agreed terms)
