Job Description

#Key Responsibilities:Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports.Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial reporting requirements.Manage external audits and coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel as needed.Supervise the Billing Manager, Compliance Manager, Accounting Manager, and HR Manager.Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and operational efficiency.Present financial reports and strategic recommendations to the CAO, CEO, and board of directors.#Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA certification strongly preferred.Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.#Preferred Qualifications:Experience in telecommunications, internet services, or subscription-based businesses.Background in high-growth, entrepreneurial companies.Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and financial modeling tools.#Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.Budget variance analysis and adherence.Audit outcomes and compliance metrics.Cash flow management effectiveness.Departmental efficiency and productivity.
