Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager for a confidential shop located in Novi, MI. The role involves managing a small maintenance team of 3-4 technicians across two shifts, dealing with a variety of foundry equipment such as mixers, resin, electric furnaces, and molds for the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of hiring, firing, coaching, and training within the maintenance team.
• Support the team in a non-union, non-automotive environment.
• Ensure continuous production in a less than pristine environment.
• Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and excellent follow-up skills.
• Engage in hands-on work during high-demand situations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical (up to 480V), and PLC issues using Allen Bradley or Siemens systems.

• Experience in maintenance management.
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, particularly with Allen Bradley or Siemens systems.
• Supervisory experience in a maintenance setting.
• Preventative maintenance skills.

• Foundry experience is advantageous.
• Relevant certifications or degrees are a plus.

Work Environment

The position is based in a foundry environment, which can be dirty. The role is a first-shift position, with actual times varying based on production needs. This is a salaried position with potential for overtime and weekend work as required by production demands.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
