Compliance Specialist

Location: Irvine, California

Compensation: $75,000-110,000 (depending on experience)

Position Overview
The Compliance Specialist will ensure that the company's operations and procedures comply with regulatory and legal standards, particularly in the mortgage sector. This role involves analyzing policies, conducting audits, and implementing processes to uphold compliance across various lending products.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze regulatory requirements and ensure company policies align with them.
• Conduct compliance audits and assessments to identify areas of risk and improvement.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to compliance activities and findings.
• Collaborate with various departments to implement compliance strategies and training programs.
• Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations that affect mortgage lending and compliance procedures.
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in the mortgage industry.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with audit processes and regulatory analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
