Job Details We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and dedicated Commercial Door Installer/Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience installing, servicing, and repairing commercial doors, docks, lifts, truck locks, restraints, fences, and other industrial equipment. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of our clients' commercial facilities. This role requires a clean driving record and the ability to provide top-notch customer service while working in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair commercial doors, docks, lifts, truck locks, restraints, fences, and other industrial equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on-site, making necessary repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Provide field supervision, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and providing solutions in a timely manner.
- Train clients and colleagues on the proper use and maintenance of commercial doors and related equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Drive company vehicle to and from job sites, adhering to all traffic laws and maintaining a clean driving record.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Commercial Door Installer/Service Technician or in a similar role.
- Proven experience with commercial doors, docks, lifts, truck locks, restraints, fences, and other industrial equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise field work, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and to a high standard.
- Experience providing training on the use and maintenance of commercial doors and related equipment.
- Must possess a clean driving record and be comfortable driving a company vehicle to and from job sites.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
- Certification or degree in a related field is a plus.
