We are seeking a Machinist for our Bridgeville site with CNC and/or Manual experience.

This position is available for 2nd shift. Work hours: 3:15 pm to 11:45 pm.

And also available for 3rd shift: 11:30 pm to 7:30 am.

Will depend on candidate's preference or availability.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to efficiently and effectively set up and operate CNC and/or manual lathes and mills, including a variety of turned parts and castings.
• Read and interpret drawings using conventional tolerances as well as geometric tolerances
• Adjust speeds and feeds to maximize machining productivity.
• Machine parts to close tolerances (.001”) from raw material and/or castings in the most efficient manner while understanding safety and quality requirements.
• Operate/machine parts as required to meet drawing specifications.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience cutting metal using CNC or Manual machines.
• Ability to accurately measure tolerances using micrometers, calipers, tri-mics, etc.
• Ability to work 2nd shift or 3rd shift.
• Computer literate.
• Knowledge of layout and set up of castings and raw material.
• Ability to read and follow route sheets/blueprints.
• Work well with people.
• Product/process knowledge.
• Self-starter.
• High level of organization skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Technical or vocational certifications in CNC or Manual Machining preferred.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Programming ability a plus, but not required.
• The knowledge and skill to utilize overhead cranes safely is a plus.
