About the Role
The Company is seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to take the lead in the next phase of its growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the ownership of a robust codebase, scaling a talented engineering team, and establishing best-in-class practices to drive speed, reliability, and innovation, with a particular focus on AI. This hands-on role involves leading and growing a distributed engineering team, making critical technical decisions, and driving a clear technical vision, especially in the areas of AI chat solutions and AI-assisted development workflows. The CTO will also be instrumental in improving development velocity and reliability, collaborating with product and design teams, and shaping the overall technical strategy. Applicants for the CTO position at the company should have a minimum of 7-15 years of software engineering experience, with a background that includes previous roles as a Software Architect or Team Lead in a startup or corporate environment. The role requires a proven track record in leading and scaling high-performing engineering teams, strong architectural experience across full-stack platforms, and deep familiarity with modern development practices. Experience in integrating or building advanced AI/ML systems, particularly in the areas of LLMs or conversational agents, is essential. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to foster a remote-first team culture, be product-oriented, and be comfortable working cross-functionally to deliver innovative solutions.
