About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to join their team. The CMO will be responsible for providing clinical services, maintaining clinical expertise, and delivering quality primary health care. This includes direct patient care, continuity of care, and participation in health promotion and education programs. The role also involves providing clinical direction, serving on center committees, and preparing and submitting medical department reports. The CMO will be expected to design and implement medical department policies, assist in budget preparation, and ensure compliance with the department's budget. Additionally, the CMO will be involved in program planning, grant applications, and will lead the medical team in identifying and prioritizing patient care needs.

Candidates for the CMO position at the company must have a medical degree, a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, and a current, unrestricted medical license. The ideal candidate will have administrative, management, and budget development experience, and be clinically fluent in Spanish. The CMO should have a strong knowledge of health promotion, prevention, and medical protocols, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The role requires the ability to work in a clinic environment, with exposure to various medical conditions, and the capacity to lift and move patients. The CMO will be expected to lead with patience, kindness, and respect for all employees and patients.
