About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Inclusion Officer to play a pivotal role in fostering a diverse and inclusive community. This senior leadership position is dedicated to coordinating and leading efforts that ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for a diverse student body and the broader community. The successful candidate will be responsible for the internal and external leadership of inclusion initiatives, including the development and implementation of a comprehensive inclusion plan that spans all institutional functions. This plan will be designed to support the academic and social needs of students, as well as to enhance the diversity of the workforce. The Chief Inclusion Officer will also be tasked with engaging with external partners to create opportunities for students and to build inclusive enrollment pipelines. Applicants for the Chief Inclusion Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a Master’s degree preferred, and a minimum of 7 years' of higher education experience. The role requires a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with at least 5 years' of experience in advancing these goals and a strong background in data assessment and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in a higher education setting, including experience in working with multiple divisions and departments. Key qualifications include excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. The Chief Inclusion Officer will also be expected to chair the Diversity and Inclusion Committee and provide leadership for the Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation Campus Center.
