About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to lead its global compliance program. The CCO will be responsible for developing, implementing, and driving processes, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, particularly those applicable to the healthcare and medical device industry. This includes maintaining a robust monitoring program, providing training and support on complex compliance issues, and working closely with business leaders to identify and mitigate compliance risks. The role also involves managing a team of compliance professionals, staying abreast of legal and industry developments, and serving as a subject matter expert in global compliance. Candidates for the CCO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience in a global healthcare compliance role, with a JD from a leading law school being preferred. Specialized skills include a deep understanding of U.S. and international anti-corruption and healthcare compliance laws, as well as a proven track record in leading and enhancing global compliance programs. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, the ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds, and a talent for inspiring trust and confidence. Experience in both law firm and corporate healthcare law practice is a plus, and the role requires the flexibility to travel internationally as needed.
