About the Role
The Company is seeking a Career Coach to provide professional coaching services and support to students in the completion of their Career Development Portfolios. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with campus and system office leadership to develop and implement strategies that align with the college's career goals. This includes coaching and monitoring student progress in various career development activities, such as resume building, mock interviews, and engagement with professional platforms. The Career Coach will also work closely with campus staff to build awareness of career coaching opportunities and to promote a culture of career development on campus. Applicants for the Career Coach position at the company should have an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred) and a minimum of two years of related experience in career development, coaching, and case management. The role requires proficiency in standard career assessments and a commitment to promoting an inclusive environment for a diverse student and employee population. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with conflicting priorities. Responsibilities also include staying current on employment trends, tracking the impact of career coaching on student development, and participating in professional growth and training programs. The role demands a proactive, entrepreneurial approach and a dedication to student learning outcomes and staff development.
