Job Title: Business Analyst (Functional) – Regulatory Reporting & Data Integration

Location: Frisco, TX or Farmington Hills, MI (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, Tuesday to Thursday)

Duration: Long-term Contract

Interview Process: Two 1-hour panel interviews

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in regulatory reporting and data integration within the banking or financial services sector. This role will focus on unifying data processes across finance and aligning them with new regulatory reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business and technical teams by translating regulatory needs into data solutions built on modern platforms like Snowflake .

Responsibilities:

• Lead the effort to consolidate the financial data model to support upcoming regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with finance and data teams to streamline disparate processes into a unified Snowflake-based asset.
• Gather and document requirements for regulatory reports such as Y-14A and Y-14M .
• Translate business requirements into detailed specifications for the data engineering team.
• Participate in data validation, UAT, and ongoing enhancements.
• Provide business insights and context for data originating from deposit systems and other financial platforms.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in regulatory reporting and data-centric projects within the banking or financial industry .
• Hands-on experience gathering and validating requirements for external reporting .
• Familiarity with Snowflake and Informatica ETL environments.
• Experience in data testing and requirement traceability .
• Strong understanding of financial products and business processes, particularly around deposit systems.

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to Adenza/AxiomSL for regulatory reporting.
• Experience with DataIQ or Alteryx .
• Background in Workday Financials or GL transformations.
