Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable  Bookkeeper to manage the financial records of three Petro-Canada gas stations and a Subway restaurant. This role involves handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and ensuring accurate reporting. Initially a part-time position, this opportunity has the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll in QuickBooks.
• Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports.
• Handle GST/PST remittances and other tax filings.
• Monitor and record daily sales and expenses for all locations.
• Work closely with management to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Requirements:

• Previous bookkeeping experience, preferably in retail, fuel stations, or restaurants.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar programs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• A valid driver's license and access to a car (preferred).
• Must be available to start immediately.
• Knowledge in  QuickBooks is an asset.
