BIM Manager
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Expertise in BIM Software – Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD , with experience managing BIM workflows across multiple disciplines (MEP, Structural, Architectural).
- BIM Coordination & Clash Detection – Strong background in clash detection, model coordination, and issue resolution using tools like Navisworks, BIM 360, and Revit’s Coordination features.
- HVAC & MEP Systems Knowledge – Understanding of chilled water piping and refrigerant piping systems, along with experience in MEP coordination for modular data centers .
- Construction & Fabrication Drawings – Ability to oversee the development of detailed construction and fabrication drawings for modular components .
- Modular Construction Experience – Familiarity with offsite prefabrication, modular assembly, and installation constraints.
- BIM Standards & Process Implementation – Experience establishing BIM execution plans, Revit templates, content libraries, and project workflows.
- Interoperability & Data Integration – Understanding of IFC formats, SolidWorks/Revit data exchange, and integration with ERP or project management systems.
- Team & Project Leadership – Experience managing BIM teams, coordinating with engineers and project managers, and ensuring model accuracy and efficiency.
Soft Skills & Work Ethic:
- Leadership & Mentorship – Ability to train, support, and guide designers and Revit users.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot model issues, optimize workflows, and improve efficiency.
- Strong Communication & Collaboration – Ability to work across departments, lead coordination meetings, and communicate technical information clearly.
- Adaptability in a Fast-Paced Environment – Modular data centers require quick decision-making and flexibility to meet project deadlines.
- Attention to Detail & Quality Control – Ensuring high accuracy in BIM models, drawings, and construction documents.
