A bit about us: Are you bilingual in Spanish and have experience as a Tutor or Teacher, working with high school aged students to help them understand Math and/or English? If you would like to make a difference to help students 9th Grade through 12th Grade in the Baltimore City and Baltimore County Schools then this role is for you!
We need 3 reliable, dedicated, and experienced tutors, who are passionate about working with the students in with Baltimore City or Baltimore County Schools. Upon receiving the position and you'll stay with the same school and with the same students for the duration of the school year, which is through the beginning of June.
The ideal candidate has experience in teaching, or as a tutor for high school aged students, and can build relationships to help those students thrive and has experience with documentation to show progress. If you have worked in Title One schools, that would be a huge plus!!
Hours are during the school day, generally 7:45-2:30pm, Monday-Friday, working onsite in the school, full time hours. There is no part time, nights or weekends. You will be working in the schools, with supervisor support to help tutor English and/or Math, assisting up to 4 students at a time. Generally working 35-40 hours/week.
You must have be able to pass a Criminal Background Check, Fingerprinting and Maryland Sex Offender Background Check before starting.
Compensation is $25/hour, plus benefits while on contract for these roles.
Possibility to join the team permanently after the contract period with a pay bump as well!

Job Details - Must be bilingual in Spanish since you'll be working with students that speak very little English
- Must have reliable transportation
- Start date as soon as 2/3!
- Tutor 3-4 kids at a time throughout several sessions each day in English and/or Math. Preference to tutor both subjects. Following the provided instructions provided for each student on what they are to cover that week. You do not need to design the tutoring, it's structured.
- Filling out daily documentation to support what was covered and where the students are in their progress
- Working Monday-Friday, 7:45 am-2:30 pm at the designated school you are assigned to. You will follow the school schedule with any half day. holidays, and school breaks, so the number of hours you work will follow the school schedule.
- Must be able to commit to working through the end of the school year in June.
- Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check, Fingerprinting, and Maryland Sex Offender Background Check paid for by the organization
