Bilingual Collections Rep for Bad Debt Division Location Cleveland, TN :

This is an exciting opportunity at Nationwide Recovery Service. Despite the pandemic's reign over the business sector, we actually doubled in employee size! We are always looking for the best candidates in the Cleveland/Chattanooga/Knoxville area and would enjoy adding you to the team.

Training will look like the following: in the first couple weeks you will learn the basics in a class setting 8 AM to 5 PM (all training and work will be done remotely), and afterward you will be mentored by a pro from our team to help set you up for success. After the initial training period you will generally work Monday through Friday week from 8 AM to 5 PM including 1 day a week from 12 PM to 9 PM, and 1 Saturdays a month, but no required overtime).

Collector Position Overview:

A collections representative handles billing and collections for the organization and it's clients. Collections representatives are responsible for generating revenue for the company's clients and ensure that their company receives accurate payment in a timely fashion. They work in a wide range of products and along with collections often perform basic office duties such as faxing documents, typing invoices, or answering phones.

:

Must effectively manage all assigned accounts

Satisfy the assigned minimum number of phone calls/attempts per day

Achieve monthly budget requirements

Provide clear and concise information to debtors and have excellent follow up skills

After training, a collector must be conversant with the software used, FDCPA laws and will be comfortable delivering “talk offs” to debtors

Other related duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

Bilingual Spanish/English speaking is a must

Bank and retail collection experience a plus

Proven performance with emphasis on calls, contacts, promises, payment overage and all elements of bank and retail collections

Must understand the negotiation process” and be able to obtain the maximum possible payment relative to each consumer's financial situation

High School Diploma or equivalent is a must

Typing 35+ WPM

All candidates must be open to drug and background screening as a prerequisite for working with us.
