Job Description

Train to be a Registered Behavior Therapist with CTLC!

Are you looking for a flexible and rewarding experience where you can access unique training opportunities and gain hands-on experience working with children?

We are seeking enthusiastic candidates excited to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team (BCBAs, Developmental Specialists, Clinical Psychologists) who are passionate about engaging with children and making a positive impact through play and developmental support.

We offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus!

  • We offer both part-time and full-time positions with flexible hours—choose a schedule that works best for you!
  • Open to entry-level candidates as well as individuals with prior educational or professional experience.
  • Gain valuable mentorship opportunities, ideal for students and those pursuing certification in mental or behavioral health fields.

Please only apply if you:

  • Are willing to spend time driving between clients (significant driving with travel/mileage reimbursed).
  • Are comfortable working in clients' homes closely with parents and caretakers
  • Are currently residing in San Diego County.
  • Work well independently.

Now hiring for the position of Behavioral Interventionist to provide in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children with autism. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a behavior analyst, gaining hands-on experience with diverse cases.

At CTLC, we are committed to supporting the needs of both our staff and the clients we serve, offering a nurturing and collaborative environment for all team members.

This position is ideal for students and professionals looking for work. Sessions are mostly scheduled during the morning/afternoon and early evenings.

We Offer:

  • Competitive wages.
  • Full benefits package for full-time employees (health, vision, dental insurance, matching 401k & more).
  • Comprehensive training.
  • Paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Compensation for travel time & mileage.
  • Supervision for BCaBA and BCBA hours.
  • Possible supervision for LPCC, Psych, and LCSW hours.
  • Close supervision from highly experienced behavior analysts and psychologists.

Our services go beyond traditional ABA programs; we offer an extensive range of educational, behavioral, and psychological services. If you are passionate about psychology and seek a broader, more diverse experience than what most ABA companies provide, you'll find ample opportunities to learn, grow, and enhance your skills with us. We work with a diverse clientele, including families navigating autism, feeding disorders, language delays, and various other special needs.

To be clear, this is an Associate's or Bachelor's level position (please no Ph.D.'s or Masters level applicants). Work occurs mostly in the child's home with parents present, therefore you will have to drive to different locations in San Diego County. You will need to complete training and build a caseload, so part-time hours build over several weeks.
