Friendswood banking client is in need of a Teller! The successful Teller candidate will be responsible for providing outstanding service to bank customers by conducting appropriate transactions and meeting the needs of the customers by referring them to the appropriate departments in the bank. 

• Efficiently Handle Transactions: Receive and process checking and savings deposits, ensuring accuracy and issuing proper receipts.
• Regulatory Compliance: Examine deposited checks, determining fund availability in line with regulations, and completing necessary Hold Notices.
• Customer Assistance: Respond to customer inquiries about interest rates, service charges, and account histories while maintaining compliance with regulations and privacy policies.
• Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell our bank products and services, enhancing the customer's banking experience.
• Problem Resolution: Effectively address customer issues, referring complex matters to the appropriate departments when necessary.
• Currency Management: Handle currency transactions, including buying and selling from the vault while adhering to cash limits.
• Daily Balancing: Ensure your teller station is well-stocked and balanced at the end of each day.

Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you should bring:

 

• Teller Experience: A minimum of one to two years of experience in a Teller role within a financial institution (heavy cash handling experience is also acceptable).
• Education: A High School diploma or GED
• Customer Service Excellence: Strong customer service skills to create positive interactions with every customer.
